Does Your Website Answer these Questions?
Every time someone visits your website, they have three questions that need to be answered within the first few seconds of arriving on your site...
- What do you do?
- How will you help me?
- How can I get/buy it?
If you’re not answering these three questions, clearly and quickly, you are losing business!
We often make it too complicated, with industry jargon and big words, when your prospect just wants to know what you do, will it help him/her, and if so, how to get it. That’s it!
People don’t care.
Seriously. People don’t care about your building. They don’t care about how many years you’ve been in business or that your grandmother started the business in her garage. All that stuff enters the conversation way down the line, when your prospect is ready to buy.
However, your home page, in particular, should be focused on addressing these three questions, and that’s about it. Dig deeper on inside pages and blog posts, but answer these three questions right away, so your visitors will figure out if they should stick around to learn more.
